You don't need any software to get the basic functionality of the headphone, which works on any platform. HyperX Cloud Flight S has a plastic frame with a metal strip running along the inside of the headband. However, unlike many 100% plastic gaming headphones, they don't look cheap at all. The headphones sit firmly enough so as not to be afraid that they may fall out, but you definitely cannot call them tight.

A compatible version of the app is only available through Windows. The app itself for this headphone model works well.

I want to note that during the review of HyperX Cloud Flight S, the headset showed itself in a positive way. There were no problems with the quality of Skype or WhatsApp calls. The detachable microphone sits on a sturdy wire arm and is easy to install.

This model is 100% immersive in the game. They are very comfortable, and even after hours of streaming, I didn't have a headache or a fever. Games like Dauntless and the recently released Halo: Master Chief Collection on a PC were easy to play, and the built-in surround sound added action. As an advantage, you can highlight the ability to instantly return to normal sound. This allows you to appreciate the level of surround sound performance relative to stereo. Especially if you are a shooter lover!

There are indeed differences. And the good thing is that you don't have to install another app just to try this feature.

The HyperX Cloud Flight S review in conjunction with the Playstation 4 also went well. Played Fortnite and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. These are games that use surround sound. If cost is the main concern, then the Corsair Void RGB Elite is also great for gaming on your PC for a lot less money.

Playstation gamers looking for something more console-specific might consider the Playstation Gold Wireless Headphones ($ 60). Although the microphone and battery life are obviously weaker than the HyperX Cloud Flight S.
