Various leaks and brand sites have already revealed that Samsung is working on a new pair of active noise canceling headphones. But a new trademark granted by the US Patent Office confirmed that the Galaxy Buds X are already in the works. These headphones are likely to be quite budget-friendly, as the South Korean publication Maeil recently noted that the new product will cost 170,000 won, or about $ 140 (10,500 rubles).
The same Apple AirPods Pro offer active noise cancellation and other smart features, but they cost $ 250. Thus, it turns out that the Samsung Galaxy Buds X earbuds offer one of the most requested features of wireless earbuds for no more than $ 150.
The current Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus is priced at $ 150, so the Galaxy Buds X may well overtake its predecessors. A pair of active noise canceling headphones for the money is an ambitious move for Samsung.
In my Samsung Galaxy Buds + review we noted that its earbuds have a tricky touch control. Hopefully with the Galaxy Buds X, Samsung solves this issue. Since the gadget will get a "bean" design, Samsung, apparently, was able to improve touch control.
According to 9to5Google, the Galaxy Buds X are 28mm long and 13mm wide, and their charging case will be 26mm thick. This is less than Buds Plus!
