Rumors of the new Jabra Evolve2 (ANC) business noise canceling headphones have been circulating for a long time, but so far there hasn't been any hint of a release. However, the latest news suggests that we won't have to wait long - there will probably be three pairs of Jabra Evolve2 at once.
Jabra Evolve2 headphones: release date and price
According to rumors, the release of a new line of business headphones will take place already at the end of May 2020... Three Jabra Evolve2 models are announced at once. One thing everyone wants to know about is the price, because improvements to a pair of business-grade headphones tend to push the price up a bit. Thus, while the first Elite 85hs retail for $ 499, the new Jabra Evolve2 85 will retail for $ 730. Versions without noise cancellation - Evolve2 65 and Evolve2 40 - are understandably slightly cheaper, at $ 437 and $ 203, respectively. You will find them in select stores and online markets in the coming weeks.

As announced by Jabra themselves, the Evolve2 has the ability to connect three headphones, two of which are wireless, and the third is not.
The largest of the trio is the Evolve2 85, business class compared to last year's Jabra Elite 85h, offering a similar design combined with the unique Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) approach that Jabra has used in this model.
Jabra talks about battery improvements with up to 37 hours of battery life, an hour more than the Elite 85h, and more focus on the microphone. While the microphones were built in on the Elite 85h, Jabra offers a boom microphone on the Evolve2 85 with two microphones inside, as well as another 8 microphones in headphone cases. The boom mic can be pulled back whenever you want, which means it can be used outside the office like a regular pair of headphones.
Evolve2 85 can connect to your phone via Bluetooth and communicate with a computer via USB. Unlike 65-inch ears, Jabra supports USB Type C or the larger USB Type A plug, whichever version you want.
There are also two smaller versions in the Evolve2 40 and Evolve2 65, wired and wireless versions of the smaller non-noise canceling (ANC) headphones, but still with three microphones in design.
However, all three are designed to work with unified communications platforms, a term that enterprises can use for cloud-based voice services supported through Microsoft teams.
