Bose QuietComfort 35 II is often considered one of the best noise canceling headphonesavailable in 2020 thanks to class-leading ANC, balanced quality sound and smart voice assistant integration.
Looks like Bose is about to enter the market gaming headsets with an unannounced (so far) "QC35 II gaming headset" discovered by the 9to5Google APK Insight team while testing the latest Bose Connect app update.
Among the many lines of application code, there are numerous references to a device codenamed "Tibbers," which 9to5Google explains is a reference to the popular online multiplayer game League of Legends.
The product, codenamed Bose Tibbers, is likely to be the Bose QC35 II Gaming Headset.

To make the connection to gaming even more explicit, every mention of the word Tibbers seems to be directly related to connecting a wired gaming microphone to the AUX and automatically turning off Bluetooth. Unfortunately, this suggests that the Bose gaming headset will not take advantage of the QC35 II's built-in Bluetooth functionality.

The Bose Connect app update also includes a product video diagram that gives a clear idea of how the microphone connection will work - you can watch the full video by clicking the link above. It is not known at this stage if the Bose Tibbers will become a full-fledged gaming headset or just a wired microphone that users can plug into the QuietComfort 35 II.
Alas, we won't know the details of the Bose QC35 II Gaming Headset until the company makes an official announcement. As always, I'll keep you updated on any developments in the audio world!
